CineStill 50D is a daylight-balanced ISO 50 color negative film known for exceptionally fine grain, high resolution, sharp detail, and wide exposure latitude. It performs best in bright daylight and controlled lighting, making it well suited to landscapes, architecture, portraits, travel, and detailed outdoor photography.
Originally based on motion-picture film technology, 50D is prepared for standard C-41 processing. Its lack of a traditional remjet backing can produce noticeable reddish halation around intense highlights, contributing to its distinctive cinematic appearance.
