CineStill 50D is a low-speed, daylight-balanced color negative film known for its exceptionally fine grain, high sharpness, and vivid yet natural color reproduction. It is especially well suited to landscapes, portraits, architecture, and outdoor photography in bright daylight.
Its ISO 50 sensitivity provides excellent highlight control and detailed images that are well suited to scanning and enlargements. CineStill 50D can also produce a distinctive halation effect around strong highlights, contributing to its cinematic appearance. It is processed using standard C-41 color chemistry.
